Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 2,350 MT
KANSAS CITY - Oct 18/05 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 59,930 MT, compared to 51,980 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 16,030 MT at 2,690 MT versus 18,720 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 25,270 MT from last year's 12,140 MT.
