Italian Strawberry Output Declining
WASHINGTON - Oct 14/05 - SNS -- Strawberry production is caught in a downtrend in Italy, which should continue through 2006, believes the U.S. agricultural attache for the country.
Production in 2006 is forecast at 80,000 metric tons (MT) of fresh berries, down from 82,000 MT this year and 86,000 MT in 2004.
