Aussie Canola Crop Estimate Cut
DONALD - Jul 12/02 - SNS -- The Australian Oilseeds Federation lowered its estimate for canola production in that country to 1.34 million metric tons (MT) its June prediction output would reach 1.44 million MT.
The estimate remains above the latest numbers from the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics, which forecast output would reach 1.26 million MT this year, compared to 1.605 million MT in 2001.
