USDA Buys Grape Juice
WASHINGTON - Oct 9/05 - SNS -- The USDA plans to buy up to 22.8 million pounds of Concord grape juice to be donated to child nutrition and other domestic food assistance programs.
Since the beginning of the current fiscal year (FY) which began Oct. 1, 2004, USDA has purchased 11.5 million pounds of grape juice. USDA purchased 12.0 million pounds of grape juice in FY 2004 and 10.3 million pounds in FY 2003.
