U.S. Durum Wheat Manages 1% GainWASHINGTON - Jul 10/02 - SNS -- This year's durum wheat crop in the United States is now forecast 84.1 million bushels, up 1% from 2001. The U.S. yield is forecast at 31.3 bushels per acre, 1.3 bushels more than last year. In releasing its latest estimates, the USDA said area for 2002 grain harvest is expected to total 2.69 million acres, down 3% from last year.
