Natural Products, Inc. opens low-fat soy flour plantGRINNELL - Jul 10/02 - SNS -- Iowa based Natural Products, Inc. (NPI) is opening a new manufacturing facility to make non-GMO soy flour available with flexible profiles. The company says customers can specify various identity preserved products (including organic and high protein) and particle sizes. NPI's flour, according to Sales Manager Paul Lang, also has an improved flavor profile and functional properties. Given the worldwide concern over GM food, Lang said, the new facility "is primarily serving an export-driven market. We hope this is the first of many low fat products based on this flour. In the future, we will have textured products available." The subscriber version of the article is available by Clicking here
