India Raises Rabi Season MSPVANCOUVER - Sep 29/05 - SNS -- The Indian government boosted minimum support prices for 2005-06 rabi season crops between 100 and 150 rupees of U.S. $2.27 and $3.41 per metric ton (MT). The approval by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs is based on the fair average quality of rabi crops. The plan covers crops to be sown this winter and marketed next year.
