Record Poultry Meat Output in Australia
WASHINGTON - Sep 27/05 - SNS -- Australia expects to produce a record 830,000 metric tons (MT) of poultry meat in 2005-06, up 5% on the revised estimate of 792,000 MT for 2004-05.
This U.S. agricultural attache for the country says this growth is being fueled by improved feed grain availability along with strong consumer demand.
