Revised Food Aid Tender Helps Peas
VANCOUVER - Sep 23/05 - SNS -- Field pea markets in the United States received an important shot in the arm during the week, with a USDA revision in the quantity of pulses sought in it latest PL-480 food aid tender.
For shipment in November, the tender did not originally seek offers of peas. This was revised Thursday to include a request for 6,920 metric tons (MT) of yellow split peas.
