U.S. Cotton Ginnings DownWASHINGTON - Sep 23/05 - SNS -- Cotton ginnings through the middle of September have fallen behind last year, according to the latest data available from the USDA. Ginnings through September 15 total 976,050 bales, down 15.6% from the 1.16 million bales ginned during the same period last year. This year's activity, however, remains ahead of both 2002 and 2003.
