Red Meat Stocks Inch LowerWASHINGTON - Sep 21/05 - SNS -- Total red meat supplies in freezers inched down in August to 855.9 million pounds. By contrast, this is up 2% from the previous year, notes the USDA in its latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Frozen pork supplies fell 7% during the month to 417.7 million pounds, up 9% from the previous year. Stocks of pork bellies were down 56% from last month at 27.1 million pounds and up 45% from last year.
