Little Progress on Special Crop harvestREGINA - Sep 20/05 - SNS -- Harvesting this year's specialty crops made little progress in Saskatchewan during the past week as continued cool and damp weather made it impossible for growers in many parts of the province to drive heavy machinery into fields, according to the latest crop progress report from Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food. The percentage of all crops harvested advanced just three points to 37% complete, making this year the second slowest harvest of the past decade. Last year was the slowest.
