Chickpeas Hold Firm
VANCOUVER - Sep 16/05 - SNS -- North American chickpea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, despite improved availability of new crop merchandise in the United States and some progress to the Canadian harvest.
Rainy weather in western Canada remains a factor on the bullish side of the equation because it limits the prospective quantity of consumption quality chickpeas which will be available for export in the coming season.
