Korea Allowing Bull ImportsWASHINGTON - Sep 15/05 - SNS -- South Korea will allow imports of purebred dairy bulls for genetic improvement of its dairy herd, notes the U.S. agricultural attache for the country. Health requirements applying to bull imports must be revised before imports can occur. Imported bulls will be restricted to semen collection centers and will be prohibited from being slaughtered for meat. Bull carcasses will be incinerated.
