Rapid Growth in Russian Poultry UsageWASHINGTON - Sep 15/05 - SNS -- Poultry production is growing rapidly in Russia due to steady investment in production and processing facilities, the rising price of competing meats, and continued introduction of new, processed poultry products. The U.S. agricultural attache for the country believes this will help lift this year's total production 2% to 740,000 metric tons (MT) and perhaps to 840,000 MT next year. The turkey production is expected to advance from 17,000 MT this year to 18,000 in 2006. Subscribers can read the full text of the article by Clicking here
