Grading Fee Increase Sought by USDAWASHINGTON - Sep 15/05 - SNS -- The USDA hopes to increase fees charged to grade and certify fresh fruit and vegetables at terminal markets. The USDA says the increases are needed to "cover program costs, to maintain enhancements to the program, to maintain the program's operating reserve, and to maintain updated technology.
