Poland Projects 6% Smaller Apple CropWASHINGTON - Sep 11/05 - SNS -- This year's apple harvest in Poland could be down 6% from last year's 2.44 million metric ton (MT) harvest, reports the U.S, agricultural attache for the country. The 2004-05 winter did not damage orchards, although frost in April, as well as, low temperatures and rains during the blooming period were not favorable for all fruits, including apples.
