Canadian Egg Output Expansion ContinuesOTTAWA - Jul 5/02 - SNS -- Canadian egg production continued to pull ahead of year earlier levels during May, with production reaching 48.9 million dozen, according to the latest data compiled by Statistics Canada. This lifted calendar year to date production to 239.5 million dozen, 2.6% higher than year earlier levels. Interestingly, the pace of increase was the same last season as seen this season, which is slower than the growth levels recorded in 1999 and 2000.
