Initial U.S. Sunflower HarvestWASHINGTON - Sep 6/05 - SNS -- Sunflower crops remain in largely good condition in the main producing states in the United States, with harvest activity reported in Texas. Colorado weather has been in a holding pattern for several weeks with scattered showers and slightly above average temperatures across the state. Although Colorado experienced scattered showers, total rain fall was below the average for the week. The sunflower crop was rated in good to fair condition last week.
