Australian Pulse Crop Estimates BoostedVANCOUVER - Sep 6/05 - SNS -- The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE) boosted the projected size of this year's pulse harvest from 1.634 million metric tons (MT) to 1.81 million MT in its latest crop forecast for 2005-06. ABARE predicted declines in prospective lupin and chickpea crops were offset by gains in field peas, fababeans and lentils.
