South Africa Optimistic About LupinsVANCOUVER - Aug 23/05 - SNS -- South Africa's Grain Information Service (SAGIS) painted a more optimistic picture about winter pulse crop prospects for the 2005-06 season, predicting lupin yields will be above their recent average. If correct, the country will harvest 15,510 metric tons (MT) of lupins this winter, up from just 3,950 MT last year, and the best crop since South Africa harvested 16,338 MT in 2001-02.
