U.S. Sunflowers Condition Little ChangedWASHINGTON - Aug 22/05 - SNS -- Sunflower crops remain in mostly fair to good condition in the main producing states in the United States. North Dakota's small grain harvest remained ahead of last year and the five-year (2000-2004) average despite being slowed by midweek rain showers. Developing crops benefitted from significant rainfall across much of the state. The sunflower ray flowers dried/dropped made a significant increase to 30% from 6% the previous week.
