Frozen Fruit Inventory Up, Fresh DownWASHINGTON - Aug 22/05 - SNS -- Frozen fruit supplies rose 33% during July to finish the month at almost 2,024 million pounds, down 2% from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Inventories of frozen fruit finished the month to 1,024 million pounds. Stocks of frozen juice dropped 20% from the previous year and 2% from the previous month to 1,770 million pounds. Fresh apples stocks finished the month at 447.1 million pounds, up 63% from the previous year, but down 52% during on the month.
