Frozen Vegetable Stocks Up 10%WASHINGTON - Aug 22/05 - SNS -- Frozen vegetable supplies rose 10% during July to finish the month at almost 1,667 million pounds, up about 7 million pounds from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Most categories of vegetables were down from month earlier levels. Notable exceptions were green beans, blackeye peas and green peas. By contrast, stocks of most of the major product categories were up from year earlier levels. Notable exceptions were onion rings, asparagus, and corn on the cob.
