French Pea Exports Below Long Term AverageVANCOUVER - Aug 18/05 - SNS -- France managed a modest improvement in the volume of field peas exported during the 2004-05 marketing year, shipping 549,275 metric tons (MT), up 5% from the previous season. Despite the improvement, France's field pea exports remain on a downtrend. This is made clear by the observation last season's exports were well below the previous five year average of 708,302 MT, which itself is down from the previous 10-year average annual export volume of 834,781 MT.
