U.S. Organic Mushroom Market Share 4.1%
WASHINGTON Aug 16/05 - SNS -- Mushroom producers in the United States sold 35 million pounds of organic mushrooms across the 2004-05 growing season, down 1% from 2003-04, according to the USDA.
Total mushroom production was 853 million pounds in 2004-05, giving organic growers a 4.1% share of the market, down slightly from the previous marketing year.
