Canada's Specialty Crop Harvest Behind AverageREGINA - Aug 15/05 - SNS -- Specialty crop harvest activity is lagging the recent five-year average pace, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food's weekly crop report. This year's field pea harvest is the most advanced, with 16% of the crop now in the bin, compared to 6% of the lentils, and 2% of the chickpeas and mustard seed planted in Saskatchewan this year.
