U.S. Chasing Feed Pea Demand
VANCOUVER - Aug 5/05 - SNS -- International feed pea markets posted another mixed finish, with internal European markets rising to a premium to North American export markets.
Stiffening competition between U.S. and Canadian shippers is becoming a factor on Great Lakes markets, with U.S. origin product discounting around U.S. $6 per metric ton (MT) delivered Duluth to Canadian feed peas in Thunder Bay.
