Egg Use Rises 9%WASHINGTON - Aug 5/05 - SNS -- The quantity of shell eggs broken by food manufacturers rose 9% above year earlier levels in June to 185 million dozen, up 7% from the 173 million broken last month, according to the USDA. During calendar year 2005 through June, shell eggs broken totaled 1.02 billion dozen, up 9% from the 940 million dozen broken in the comparable period in 2004.
