Chickpeas Remain Firm
VANCOUVER - Jul 29/05 - SNS -- Chickpea markets remained firm through the past week, with limited trading reported on account of relatively tight stocks.
Exporters in Turkey were busy meeting regional demand and interest from Pakistan for product for arrival before the start of Ramadan. North American shippers reported some interest for the stocks they have available, but asking prices were generally higher than buyers were willing to pay.
