Chickpea Markets Maintain Firm Tone
VANCOUVER - Jul 22/05 - SNS -- International chickpea markets remain firm in the face of tight supplies relative to demand for large caliber product.
Small caliber kabuli and desi chickpea markets were also relatively steady. Even though Pakistan believes it has produced an exportable surplus of chickpeas, there is significant controversy in that country over selling to India in the weeks before Ramadan.
