USDA Tenders for 31,510 MT PulsesKANSAS CITY - Jul 20/05 - SNS -- The 2005-06 marketing year is getting off to a powerful start for lentil shippers in the United States as the USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here announces it is seeking offers of 31,510 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid in September. The invitation contains a request for offers of 23,610 MT of lentils; 7,400 MT of whole and split yellow peas; and just 500 MT of great northern and/or pea beans.
