South Africa Pulse Forecast Little ChangedPRETORIA - Jul 20/05 - SNS -- Dry edible bean production estimates for South Africa were left unchanged in the latest crop report released by the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS), but forecast seedings for 2005-06 crop lupins are up. The summer harvest is forecast at 69,820 metric tons (MT) from 49,300 hectares. The expected yield is 1,420 kilograms per hectare. Sweet lupin seedings are expected to come in at 14,100 hectares, almost double the 7,100 hectares sown last year. Average yields would see production jump from 3,950 to 13,100 MT.
