U.S. Edible Beans in Mostly Good ConditionWASHINGTON - Jul 18/05 - SNS -- Dry edible bean crops remain in mostly good condition in the main producing areas, judging from the latest state level crop progress reports. However, soil moisture reserves are continuing to be pressured by hot and relatively dry conditions. Michigan and Wisconsin and the driest states, with topsoil rated mostly very short to short; while New York and North Dakota are reporting mainly adequate to surplus topsoil moisture conditions.
