Pakistan Lowers Pulse Import Tax
ISLAMABAD - Jul 13/05 - SNS -- The Pakistan government lowered the withholding tax on imported pulses from 6% to 2% in an effort to prevent domestic markets from rising at a time when surplus production in Canada, Myanmar and Turkey and subsidized surplus production from the United States are pressing world markets lower.
