CBOT Outlines Options for Anderson Grain ReceiptsCHICAGO - Jul 6/05 - SNS -- The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) outlined options available to holders of the 137 wheat receipts issued at The Andersons Agricultural Group LP Edwin, Toledo elevator. The elevator was damaged by an explosion last week, which left the firm unable to physically load out grain from the Edwin facility. Holders of Edwin wheat warehouse receipts have the following options: 1.. Andersons to obtain another warehouse receipt at another mutually acceptable regular facility, or 2.. At a mutually acceptable price, sell the warehouse receipt to the issuing warehouseman, or 3.. Carry the warehouse receipt indefinitely as long as storage is paid with the understanding the grain cannot be physically loaded or delivered into a CBOT futures contract subsequent to July 2005 until repairs to the facility are made. The Andersons wheat receipts issued from the Edwin warehouse and registered prior to July 1, 2005 will continue to be deliverable through July 25, 2005. Subsequent to the July 2005 delivery period the receipts will no longer be deliverable. No new registrations will be allowed until repairs have been made and the facility has been re-inspected by the Registrar’s Office. A notice will be issued once the facility has been re-inspected.
