CN Engineers Ratify Contract
MONTREAL - Jul 4/05 - SNS -- Locomotive engineers who belong to the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) ratified their five-tear agreement with CN Rail.
The agreements provide wage, benefit and quality of work-life improvements to TCRC members. One agreement applies to CN locomotive engineers across Canada, while the other agreement covers engineers working on CN's Northern Quebec Territory (NQT). Nationally, the TCRC has roughly 1,600 active members at CN, with 1,490 in freight service. Its NQT unit represents roughly 65 CN employees.
