CWB Issues Pool A Barley Final
WINNIPEG - Jun 30/05 - SNS -- The Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) is making a final payment on feed barley delivered into its Pool A during the 2004-05 marketing year.
The final is CDN $12.72 per metric ton (MT) for all grades. This lifts the total payment for 1 Canada Western barley to $116.72 MT; for 2 Canada Western to $111.72 MT; and for Standard Canada Western Hulless to $116.72 MT.
The Pool A feed barley pool ran from August 1, 2004 to January 31, 2005. This final payment represents the balance of the money owing to farmers after their feed barley has been marketed through the CWB, and after operating costs have been deducted.
