U.S. Pea and Lentils Stocks Jump
WASHINGTON - Jun 30/05 - SNS -- There was a significant increase in the quantity of field peas, lentils and chickpeas on hand in the United States on June 1 compared to last year, reports the USDA in its latest stocks in all positions report.
Though quantities of chickpeas on hand were unchanged, the USDA said there were four times more field peas and lentils stored in all positions in the United States on June 1.
