U.S. Edible Beans in Mostly Good Condition
WASHINGTON - Jun 27/05 - SNS -- Seeding of this year's dry edible bean crops are winding down in most states and complete in several, judging from data available from states reporting seeding progress.
Weather conditions across much of the growing area helped with germination and initial plant growth. Though some states report deteriorating soil moisture conditions, this year's crop is in mainly good condition.
