World Pulse Output to SlipROME - Jun 22/05 - SNS -- World pulse production is expected to decline this year, slipping from last year's 61.4 million metric tons (MT) harvest to a forecast 60.7 million MT this year, according to preliminary forecasts from the United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Even so, output will remain 4% above the average of the last three years. Compared with 2004, output in the developing countries is forecast to contract by 2% from 45 million to 44.2 million MT, more than offsetting a marginal expansion foreseen in the developed countries from 16.4 million to 16.5 million MT.
