Field Pea Markets Optimistic
VANCOUVER - Jun 10/05 - SNS -- Canadian field pea markets are entering the final seven weeks of the 2004-05 marketing year on a high note, with a perception movement will finish the season as good as it has been since last August.
Demand is being driven by feed peas, with a good volume of product trading to Europe, particularly Spain. That country faces a severe shortage of livestock feed ingredients because of drought.
