USDA Buys 24,500 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Jun 8/05 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 24,500 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid between July 6 and 27.
In announcing the results of PL-480 food aid tender invitation 065, the USDA said, "There were no offers received for 2,140 MT of yellow split peas and 140 MT of yellow split peas were rejected due to price."
