Turkey Hopeful About EU Poultry Meat SalesWASHINGTON - Jun 8/05 - SNS -- Turkey's poultry industry is becoming hopeful it will soon be able to start exporting meat to the European Union, notes the U.S. agricultural attache for the country. Last September, the EU Commission sent a delegation of inspectors from the EU's Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) to inspect the Turkish industry and assess governmental controls.
