Shell Egg Usage Up 5%WASHINGTON - Jun 6/05 - SNS -- The quantity of eggs used by food manufacturers jumped 5% in April to an estimated 167 million dozen, according to the USDA. During calendar year 2005 through April, shell eggs broken totaled 662 million dozen, up 9% from the 608 million dozen broken in the comparable period in 2004.
