Australian Auction Offerings JumpSYDNEY - Jun 3/05 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd rose during the past week on the basis of solid increases in offerings of cattle and sheep. Throughput for the week totalled 30,549 sheep and lambs, up from 18,148 head the previous week, for a second week over week advance. The number of cattle put through the company's auctions totalled 2,674, compared to 2,096 last week, for a second week of rising activity. "Mondays' sheep and lamb markets rose in unison, and each day after numbers increased, looking for Monday's jump, but alas, daily it dropped," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said.
