Paraguay Sees Bigger Cotton CropWASHINGTON - Jun 1/05 - SNS -- Cotton production is expected to rebound in Paraguay this year, expanding from 64,000 metric tons (MT) in 2004 to an estimated 92,000 MT this year. Improved yields and a solid increase in seeded area from 215,000 to 250,000 hectares is behind the increase, according to a recent report from the U.S. agricultural attache for the country.
