French Field Pea Exports Slow
PARIS - May 26/05 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France declined in March, slipping below both year and month earlier levels, according to data assembled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
Shipments during the month totalled 37,225 metric tons (MT), down 3.8% from February and 2.8% below year earlier levels. However, the decline had little impact on marketing year to date export clearances, which remain 11.3% above year earlier levels at 420,745 MT.
