USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 1,000 MT
KANSAS CITY - May 25/05 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 36,810 MT, compared to 78,650 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases down 32,190 MT from last year's 58,120 MT level.
