USDA Tenders for 26,780 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - May 25/05 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 26,780 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid in July.
Field pea and lentil processors continue to be excited by the level of USDA PL-480 food aid demand for their commodities, with lentils accounting for 53% of the tender total, whole and split peas 43%, and dry edible beans the balance.
